PRESS RELEASE: UDM's solution to poverty alleviation
The United Democratic Movement (UDM) calls on government to give effect to creating jobs in the mining sector.
The statement made by Governor Gill Marcus during her address at the Labour Law Conference can only be realised with government intervention. This upward job creation trend can only be achieved through bursaries, scholarships and learning opportunities for the disadvantaged communities which in turn create good job opportunities and uplift communities.
The UDM reiterates its stance of job creation as being one of the fundamental pillars that good governance is based upon, and a real solution to the South African landscape of poverty alleviation.
